Memory from Zimbabwe  

Corinne worked with Memory on Lesbos. At One Happy Family they were colleagues in the clothing store. There was an immediate warm affection between them. She lived in the notorious Moria camp at that time. She has been through the most horrible things a person can experience and yet she can shine like the sun. We really love her. For many years she waited in Greece before being allowed to travel. Once she had the right papers, she went to France. After waiting another number of years, she was granted asylum last summer. Now she’s learning the French language and lives in her own apartment that we have decorated together.
