Family Alsoud from Syria

Eluna and I met Wasila and her 3 sons on a blanket in a shelter in Piraeus. We looked at each other and immediatly felt a connection, from heart to heart. We didn’t speak each other’s language, but that turned out to be no problem and the six of us shared an apple. Her husband and daughter had already moved on and were in Austria, but now that the borders were closed, Wasila could not move on. We visited her in the various camps and dreamed together that one day everything would be okay. Finally the family was reunited: what a joy! They live in Vienna now. We visited them regularly and the family even visited us once. This heart contact will remain.
